Pelikan Pens

About Toledo, Ductus or Green Tortoise

Pelikan Pens - the expression sounds familiar as a traditional German brand. And this is part of the truth. The company has been founded in Germany in the 19th century. But in 1984 the Swiss Condorpart AG has bought Pelikan, which is best known for it's fountain pens - see below.

appropriate for kids at modest price

Almost every (German) pupil has already been writing with such a Pelikan pen. The company has designed them in a way, which is apt for young children who learn to write: The form, the color and the material are appropriate für kids, and the price is moderate.

a grown ups collection

Besides those fountain pens for the younger ones Pelikan is also producing more expensive models for grown ups like Ductus or Green Tortoise. You might want to check them in the carousel widget above. Which one to choose is a question of taste and price. And it is a question of purpose. Do you want one for every day use? Or should it be rather a very special device?

Toledo - the classical one

The assortment of these pens is rather huge. You can find classical ones like the Toledo which was originally produced in 1931. This is part of the series "Originals of their time".

There are other limited editions which are apt for collectors and for those, who love to have a special writing device.

a pen for everyday!

People who want a pen for every day use might also choose a Pelikan. There are also quite a few payable models. To make those or the expensive ones a personal gift, they might be engraved. These german-swiss pens are writing devices for everyone. They can accompany their owners for a long time.
