German Sweets: Suesse Schleckmuscheln
by Claudia
(Denver, Co)
I'm trying to find somewhere in the US that can ship my mother some german candy she used to love as a little girl. Problem is...I can't find it anywhere, and I can't read German! They're called susse schleck muscheln, and it's basically honey in a sea shell. Any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks
Dear Claudia,
the sweets you are looking for are called:
"Süße Schleckmuscheln". I'm afraid but I couldn't find any US-based suppliers.
The german online shop "world of sweets" is selling them in 1 kg-packages containing 100 shells for 8,67 Euro.
There are also other german suppliers, but nobody is shipping sweets to the US. Maybe you can do a research online based on the correct name of the sweets: Süße Schleckmuscheln.
I hope you find US-based suppliers
All the best,
Gabriela
