The size of the map is 36 x 54 inches--fits very nicely over a regular size workdesk. The flags of every European nation are displayed on the sides of the map. This is a political map. I found that for travel purposes, political maps are the best. They show major highways, railroads, ferries, lakes and rivers, and many big and small cities much better than other types of maps (physical, for example). The price of this map is $29.99, and it is the same whether you buy it online or directly in the Randall McNally store. Of course, shipping and handling may cost you a little extra. This is a perfect gift for someone who is planning to independently travel in Europe or anyone who is into travel, or simply loves geography.
