German Castles

The perfect gift for Germany Lovers

Visiting german castles could be a perfect german gift for everyone who loves germany. Why not organize a german castles trip for your recipient? Germany is the spot of the most magnificent castles in the world. The monuments and palaces which Germany has to offer to you are all original. Germany hosts not just a handful, but several hundreds of every genre and from all epochs. Each has its own fascinating history, which is "written" its walls. Find here my recommendations of the best ones.


Living like a Prince

If you have the time - each of the german castle offer hospitality and is worth a visit. Types can range from the comfortable palace hotel and exclusive restaurant to cultural event spots or a castle museum . Here you are invited to join in banquets and feasts typical of the Middle Ages.

Many Concerts take place with instruments from the Baroque period. Don’t miss theatre performances – these events are unforgotten and have a special charisma! You are invited to live like a prince, learn strange stories and tales, and feel a fear of ghosts around midnight. Germany is in my opinion worth visiting just because of its castles and palaces.

My favorite castles are located in South Germany

Ten thousands of tourists come to Germany every day just to see and feel the "charisma" of our German "houses of Kings and princess". I will explain you my favourites and a little bit of their history. You are lucky! My best "gems" are all located in South Germany - so you don’t have to travel hundreds of miles/kilometres to visit each of them.

2. Neuschwanstein

Neuschwanstein is the location for many fairy-tale dreams. The history of this new-gothic building is connected forever with the history of King Ludwig II. Read here more about it.
