I just bought mine at a yard sale and it has the original booklet with recipes.

Spice cookies
2 c (7 oz) sifted flour; 1 c (4.5 oz) sifted corn starch, 2 tsp baking powder; 1/2 c (1 3/4 oz cocoa; 1 1/4 c (8 oz) sugar, 2 tsp vanilla; 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 eggs, 5 oz magerine

glaze 1 1/2 cu (150 grm) powdered sugar; 3 T boiling water

decoration almond

mix flour, starch, baking powder, and cocoa first, then add remaining ingredients. knead dough until smooth. Roll out dough and cut with cookie roller . Place cookies on greased baking sheet. bake at 350-375 for about 15 minutes. mix powdered sugar and boiling water and brush tops of cookies immediately after removing from oven decorate with almonds if desired.

almond gingerbread
4 eggs, 1 1/14 c (9 oz) sugar, 4 cups (14 oz) sifted flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 14 oz ground almonds, 2 oz (1/4 c) minced candied lemon peel and 2 oz (1/4 cup) minced candied orange peel, 1/4 tsp ground cloves, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, 1 tsp cinnamo

glaze 1 egg yold

approx 80 peeled almond halves for decoration if desired.

mix eggs and sugar, beat until frothy, add remaining ingredients and knead until smooth. chill for 2 hours, then roll ou to 3/16" thickness and cut with roller. Place on greased baking sheet and brushy with egg yold. place almnod half if desired. bake 10 minutes in preheated 350 oven until cookies are light brown. cool on rack.

almond spekulatius
5 c sifted four, 7 oz butter, 1 c sugar, 3 1/2 oz marzipan, 1 egg, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cardamon, 1/4 tsp each ground cloves, nutmeg, salt, and carbonate of ammonia (baker's salt)

for dusting the baking sheet flour and 3.5 oz almond fakes

mix butter sugar and marzipan, then add remianing ingredients and knead til smotooth.. wrap in foil ad chill 2 hours. roull out and cut with roller place on baking sheet bake 10 minutes in preheated 375 oven until light brown. cool on rack.
