Carl Walter Reinhardt

My Grand father was born outside Hamburg on their dairy farm in about 1889.

5- Brothers two who came to the Chicago area around 1908.
Carl Reinhardt was in the German Navy in 1909 to 1911 when he cotracted Malaria and was hospitalised in Cape Town South Africa.
Subsequently went to Johannesburg and married Anne Ross of Scottish decent.
Had 3 girls and 4 sons.

Several years ago we manage to find out the church that held the records of births and deaths was destroyed during the first or second wars.
My father was Eric Robert Reinhardt. South African born.
Born August 1921.

I am originally from South Africa living in Houston Texas.
